Katie Barron is the Head of Social Innovation and Systems Change at Centre for Young Lives, where she leads work to develop and test new models and approaches that improve outcomes for children and young people.

Katie is a systems thinker and brings experience of leadership across public, private and voluntary sectors, specialising in trauma-informed practice, early childhood and prevention. Her work focuses on shaping practical, evidence-informed solutions that help systems to bridge policy, practice and lived experience to develop more effective, joined-up support for families.
