Ingrid is passionate about the importance of freedom, play and community for children, and our collective power to make positive change and build a better, more just world. She is co-founder and co-director of Playing Out CIC, a parent and resident led movement to restore children’s freedom to play out, socialise and get around independently where they live. Playing Out encourages and supports community led change reclaiming space for children, and speaks out for local and national policy change. Ingrid is also a writer and part of the Room 13 Hareclive collective, a child-led project on the Hartcliffe estate in south Bristol that has been championing children’s art, creativity and voice for over 20 years.
